Meet Candice

Candice Gorges, Community Association Manager exemplifies the Community Management role and industry with her clientele. Her personal commitment to delivering a high standard of customer service, building and maintaining relationships with Homeowners and Board Members reflects her commitment and long standing reputation in client satisfaction.

Gorges was a Community Association Manager for a local company and Associa® in Carlsbad, California. While there, she managed seven communities, overseeing board meetings and preparing needed materials, supervising landscape walkthroughs, and working with the Board to properly invest their reserve funds to help stabilize the financial wellbeing of the HOA. She also served as an Assistant Manager in the Palm Desert office for 11 communities, supporting approximately over 1500 homes. Her duties included creating e-blasts and newsletters, handling architectural application submittals, and acting as a liaison between all departments to facilitate proper communication. She was quickly promoted to a Manager position by request of Board Members which paved the way to her dedication in the Community Management field.

Prior to entering the community association management field, Gorges has spent over 14 years in the real estate industry. Her experience is in commercial real estate where she specialized in restaurant leasing and land acquisitions for her developer clients. In her first year in real estate, she achieved the Circle of Distinction award, positioning her in the top five in sales in her local company.

Candice is an active member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) locally and nationally, California Desert Association of Realtors (CDAR), and has been a past member of ICSC, Women's Council and Building Industry Association (BIA).

Gorges obtained her California Manager of Community Association (CMCA) certification and her Association Management Specialist (AMS) certification in addition to being a licensed California Realtor. Her real estate education and classes include sales and marketing, law, finance, business principals and appraisal.

In her personal time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, wine tasting and learning new cuisines. She is delighted to be a part of the Coachella Valley's group of native professionals and is looking forward to working closely with her Board members along with serving her homeowners to ensure the maintenance, protection and enhancement of the communities she serves.

Why Bersh?

Some of the advantages of having your community managed by Bersh:
  • We employ highly trained and knowledgeable staff and property managers considered to be experts in the field.
  • We provide custom tailored services catered to each client’s specific needs.
  • We provide 24/7 emergency service that is supported and handled by a Property Manager rather than an after-hours answering service.
  • We generate detailed and accurate financial packages prepared by experienced accounting staff.
  • Our diverse offerings include board relations and support, financial administration, gated community services, common area maintenance, lake management and drainage control, architectural quality control, and many other management services. This diverse scope of services positions us to fully satisfy each client’s unique needs.
  • We are focused on long-term relationships rather than year-to-year contracts.
Whether it is a 300-unit condominium property, a small gated 12-home community, or even a commercial plaza, Bersh believes residential developments are as individually unique as the people who live, work, play and visit there.
What works in one place may not somewhere else, and this is why we specially tailor our style to the communities we manage.

Contact Bersh if you are interested in working with Bersh here in the Coachella Valley.
